Current Vacancies:

Lead Kindergarten Teacher
Sky Avenues is looking for experienced, passionate and energetic kindergarten teachers who enjoy working in a unique learning environment as part of a multicultural team.

Teachers should have a minimum of 2 years experience working with preschool aged children (preferably in an international school) and ideally have knowledge of the Australian Early Years Learning Framework. All classes are conducted in English with children from a range of backgrounds and Lead Teachers are assisted in the classroom by teachers from China and the Philippines. Lead Teachers are responsible for the daily running of their classroom and for planning and teaching inspiring, fun and interesting lessons.

Teachers are encouraged to be creative and play an active part in the ongoing development of the curriculum. There is also the chance for progression / managerial positions in the future for those teachers who excel in the classroom. Professional development is supplied to all teachers both from internal and external trainers.

Job Requirements:
- Applicants must hold a university teaching qualification, preferably in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education.
- Experience working as a teacher in a classroom with young children.
- A passion for early childhood education and working with young learners.
- Ability to work as part of a multicultural team and enjoy experiencing new cultures.
- Hold a western passport and have English as your first/native language.

Teacher (Chinese Nationality)
As are the first International Kindergarten in Fujian province, we are looking for experienced, passionate Chinese kindergarten teachers who have experience of Western culture/International companies and enjoy working in a unique environment as part of a multicultural team.

Our school curriculum is based on the Australian national early childhood framework °•Belonging, Being, Becoming°¶, with emphasis on learning through play, experiencing and exploring. All classes are conducted in 100% English with children from a range of backgrounds. Candidates need therefore to be comfortable teaching and working using English only.

At Sky Avenues we offer children a complete learning experience that includes all aspects needed to develop happy, confident, and healthy young people. We place a lot of emphasis on children being able to explore ideas and engage in activities independently.

Job Requirements:
- Applicants must hold a university qualification in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education or English Language
- Candidates should have additional skills in at least one of the following areas: piano, music & singing, dance, art, calligraphy or other extra-curricular classes.
- Must have excellent English (level 4 or above) including good communication skills (oral and written).
- A minimum of 2 years experience working as a teacher in a classroom with young children °V ideally working alongside a native English teacher.
- A passion for early childhood education and working with young learners.
- Ability to work as part of a multicultural team and enjoy experiencing new cultures.
- A responsible and hardworking attitude with the desire to further a career in the education field.
